How does the subscription work?

We make PropertyCare free to download so that you can ‘try before you buy’ and therefore there are limits set for what can be entered in the free version of the app

Purchasing a subscription will allow you to use the app without restriction. You can enter as many properties and as many entries for each property as you like

A 12 month subscription can be purchased by tapping on the Subscribe button in the app

Each time you extend your subscription you will add 12 months to the end date of your existing subscription

If you let your subscription expire, renewing it will extend it for one year from the day you renew it

Can photos be added to Planning section?

Yes they can. Tap on an entry and then on Edit and ‘Add image’. You can add as many photos as you like to each entry.

Can I compare goals against each other?

Yes you can. Tap on ’Tracking’ and then on ‘Compare’. You can select any two goals to graph against each other and select from six different bases to graph the data.

Can I use my Apple Watch to run Track & Plan?

Yes and no. Track & Plan needs to be downloaded to your iPhone where you get all the functionality of the app. However, you can get a notification to rate your goal achievement at a set time each day on your Apple Watch and you can make your assessments straight on the watch.

Can I change existing or add new goals once I’ve set up the app?

Yes you can. Just tap on the Settings button. You can toggle existing goals On/Off, delete existing goals, amend them and add new goals up to a limit of six in total.

I have the previous version of ShipShape, ShipShape for iPad. Will it still work?

As of 11 November 2017, ShipShape for iPad was withdrawn from the App Store and was replaced by the new version of ShipShape. The previous version only worked on Apple iPad. New ShipShape works on smartphones and tablets (all Apple devices with iOS 10 and up and on most common Android devices).

Users of ShipShape for iPad can continue to use that app but it is no longer supported as from 11 November 2017. The effect of this is that, as and when Apple changes its iOS to a version that no longer allows ShipShape for iPad to function, the app will cease to operate. We cannot predict when this will occur as it is not within our control.

The data in ShipShape for iPad cannot be imported into ShipShape as ShipShape is written in a different base. We recommend that all users of ShipShape for iPad print out their data so that it can be uploaded to ShipShape if required.

Users of ShipShape for iPad can continue to use that app but it is no longer supported as from 11 November 2017. The effect of this is that, as and when Apple changes its iOS to a version that no longer allows ShipShape for iPad to function, the app will cease to operate. We cannot predict when this will occur as it is not within our control.

The data in ShipShape for iPad cannot be imported into ShipShape as ShipShape is written in a different base. We recommend that all users of ShipShape for iPad print out their data so that it can be uploaded to ShipShape if required.

How does the subscription work?

We make ShipShape free to download so that you can ‘try before you buy’ and therefore there are limits set for what can be entered in the free version of the app

Purchasing a subscription will allow you to use the app without restriction. You can enter as many boats and as many entries for each boat as you like

A 12 month subscription can be purchased by tapping on the Subscribe button in the app

Each time you extend your subscription you will add 12 months to the end date of your existing subscription

If you let your subscription expire, renewing it will extend it for one year from the day you renew it

We need to charge a small monthly subscription to cover the ongoing costs of our servers and recoup our app development costs.

Can I save my entries somewhere in case something happens to my data?

The app backs up to the Cloud. Just enter your username and password to get access to your data at any time or give those details to others if you want to share your data with them.

Why can I only add four photos in each section of the app?

Adding more photos to each section would slow down the performance of the app. Using a proprietary photos app is a more efficient way to store and manage large volumes of photos.

In What’s aboard, can I create my own Locations and Lists?

Yes you can. When adding an item to What’s aboard, enter whichever Location you like and the app will remember them for you to select in the future. The same applies to Lists.

I have more than one boat. Can I add more in the app?

You can add as many boats as you like in the app.

How many boats can I manage on ShipShape Pro?

ShipShape Pro can support up to 100 boats. The app comes with one boat and you can purchase additional boats in packs of 1, 5 or 10 at $29.99, $129.99 and $239.99 respectively – in whatever your local currency is of course. (If you are managing a fleet of similar boats, there is a ‘clone’ feature to save re-entering the same data for each boat).

Is ShipShape Pro only for iPad?

ShipShape Pro only works on iPad. There is no PC/desktop version. ShipShape Pro is not a website product. Our customers wanted an app that could be used where there was no wi-fi connection i.e. usually standing on a pontoon in the middle of a marina 🙂

Is the data entered in ShipShape Pro backed up somewhere?

The app backs up to Dropbox. Tap on the Dropbox backup icon. If you already have Dropbox the app will automatically sync with your account. If not, the app will automatically take you to the Dropbox sign-up page where you can open an account. It’s free and it’s easy

Does the app share with other people?

ShipShape Pro was designed for, and is principally used by, people managing fleets of boats where one person keeps control of all the information on a single iPad and then shares reports from that iPad with customers and other users – which you can do straight from the app.

Can I change existing or add new symptoms once I’ve set up the app?

Yes you can. Just tap on the Settings button. You can toggle existing symptoms On/Off, delete existing symptoms, amend them and add new symptoms up to a limit of six in total

Can I use my Apple Watch to run Symptrack?

Yes and No. SympTrack needs to be downloaded to your iPhone where you get all the functionality of the app. However, you can get a notification to rate your symptoms at a set time each day on your Apple Watch and enter the severity ratings straight on the watch.

Can I compare symptoms against each other?

Yes you can. Tap on ’Tracking’ and then on ‘Compare’. You can select any two symptoms to graph against each other.and select from six different bases to graph the data.

I like the Activities log but can I add photos?

Yes you can. Tap on an activity and then on Edit and ‘Add image’. You can add as many photos as you like to each activity.

Can photos be added to Planning section?

Yes they can. Tap on an entry and then on Edit and ‘Add image’. You can add as many photos as you like to each entry.

Can I compare goals against each other?

What’s in My Freezer comes with two freezers already included. You can add as many more freezers as you want by making an in-app purchase.

What’s in My Freezer makes it easy to duplicate an item. Just tap on the item and then on Duplicate and amend the details.

Tap on the Filter icon. Toggle off the ‘Frozen’ and ‘Make’ buttons. Tap on the email icon and ‘Create email’ button.
